 Julia Huff Burnette is a life long resident of Gilmer County.
She attended and graduated from the Gilmer County School
System. She became interested in dentistry during her high
school years and wanted to pursue a career in dental hygiene.
Julia graduated with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene
from Clayton State College and University in 1989. While at
school, Julia received an academic scholarship from Clayton
County Rotarian Club and also was chosen for Sigma Phi Alpha
Honor Society upon graduation from Clayton.
Julia has one son, William who lives in Gilmer County with his
wife and three boys -Bryson, Grant, and Cooper. She has many
outside interest which include being very involved with
her church music ministry and spends a great deal of her time
with her family. Julia is very passionate about her work and
considers it a blessing and honor. She has been with Lykins
Family Dentistry since its opening in May 2005.
